Special Instructions…
Plan ahead! Call South Bay Floral Preservation before your wedding date to book your preservation. I accept appointments only, no walk-ins. Be sure to include bouquet preservation during the wedding planning process. After the wedding, put your bouquet in a vase with a few drops of water and place it in the refrigerator (not the freezer). Leave it there until you, a friend, or a relative can drop off your bouquet for preservation.
Preserving Your Bouquet ...
I use a drying process using a desiccant product. This method completely dehydrates your flowers and prepares them for display in a frame, dome or shadow box in the color, style and size of your choosing. The frame matte color can also enhance your flowers. I have many options to choose from and I will guide you through the entire process. The final product will be something so special, so unique and personal that you helped create.
Ideally, we should meet before your wedding so we can discuss your colors, flowers, budget, and any keepsakes you might like to include in your finished piece, such as an invitation, photo, boutonniere, rosary, garter, etc…
At that time, I will show you a variety of styles, frame types and mattes to choose from. You don’t have to decide at that meeting, you can wait until after you return from your honeymoon. What’s important is that I pick up or receive your bouquet soonest after the ceremony. I begin the preservation process the day I receive it.
Tip: I offer same day complementary pick up for receptions held in the South Bay (El Segundo, Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach, San Pedro, Hawthorne, Lawndale, Lomita, Torrance, and Palos Verdes Peninsula).
